What is a Surface Dial
A Surface Dial is a gadget that allows users to access features faster and works on Windows 10 tablets and computers.
How Does a Surface Dial Work?
Surface Dial is compatible with all Windows 10 devices. There are several ways you can interact with the Dial.
- Press and Hold: open a menu
- Rotate: switch between items in a menu
- Click: select "
Pairing Surface Dial with Tablet and PC
Please turn on the Bluetooth on your tablet. If you can't find the Bluetooth, please click the "Start" button > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth Turn on the Bluetooth connection of the Surface Dial. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the Dial, press on the button next to the batteries.
Using Surface Dial in Animation Desk
Click on the Surface Dial to open the shortcut menu and to switch between different functions. There 3 options in the shortcut menu.
- Brush: change brush size and opacity
- Colors: switch between colors
- Frames: switch between frames
Once you select a function, you can rotate the Dial to change the value.
