After one month and 450 submissions later, we are proud to announce the ten winners of the Stamp Design Competition 2014. The contest was held in celebration of Kdan Creative Store with the purpose to inspire and encourage creative talents around the world. Besides online voting by the public, we invited experienced and professional artists to help us select the winners. Kdan mobile would like to congratulate the winners and give special thanks to all who participated. The winning designs will be available for purchases in Kdan Creative Store. Without further ado, here are the winners:
1st place: “Keep Calm” by Ana Varela, Spain Ana’s “Keep Calm” has been selected as the most outstanding set of design. We love how she has used flat design to create a realistic, yet minimalistic look. These stamps creatively express various of ways to “Keep Calm”, from meditation to being online chatting with friends.

2nd place: “Forest Animals” by Tom Littleson, AustraliaGet away from the bustling city life and explore the wildlife with “Forest Animals”. Tim, the creator behind these unique pieces of work, loves simplicity in design and prefers minimal use of colors. If you are on a camping trip or hiking in the forest, these are perfect for keeping a creative travel journal.
3rd place: “Animal Kingdom” by Pilar Henandez, Colombia
Pilar likes animals and wanted to portray them in an iconic way. It is impressive to see how he has used simple shapes, clean lines and modern flat colors to complete the look. These stamps are simple, yet intriguing and will be dearly appreciated by all animal lovers.

Nokia Special Award: “People” by Egg, Taiwan
Egg has a remarkable artistic skill for character design. These characters can be used in many different ways. Set your imagination free and use these personalities to create your own comic story.
Best Drawing Award: “The Girls” by Yap Han, MalaysiaYap shows great skills in charcoal drawing. He completed this look with watercolor and the results are fascinating. These stamps illustrate activities in our everyday life, such as shopping, chatting or hang out with friends.

Best Design Award: “Cinema and Bookstore” by Margarita, BelarusMargarita made these great designs to showcase her passion for cinema and books. These stamps are ideal for organizing your notes. Use them to indicate different genres of movies or e-books.
Best Artist Award: “Wonderland Creatures” by Mago Huang, Taiwan Mago’s “Alice in Wonderland” inspired artwork are simply amazing. She was drawn by the “whimsical” and ”wicked” elements of the story and made her own interpretations of the characters. Use these stamps to create your very own fairytale.

Creative Mention: “Chibi Pin-ups” by Zoe Chung, Canada Zoe superbly managed to bring in a fresh new look to the pin-up style, presenting the girls as cute, but elegant rather than the sexy, playful image. Use these pin-up girls to brighten your day.

Best Illustration Award: “Cats All Around” by RenRen, Taiwan Renren’s love for cats are reflected in her drawings. These stamps portrays the wonderful world of cats. For the many catlovers out there, these are ideal for making travel journals or travel plans.
