CALLING ALL ANIMATORS (AND ASPIRING ANIMATORS)! The 8th iAniMagic Contest is the perfect opportunity for you to show off your work to the animation world and grow as an artist.
What is the iAniMagic Contest?
The iAniMagic Contest is an annual competition, hosted by Kdan Mobile, that gives animators, whether you’re a professional, amateur, or student, a chance to submit creative works, and win cash and other prizes (up to $700 USD)!
All entries must be 15-30 seconds long and created using Animation Desk. They also must incorporate animals, this year’s theme.
How do I get started?
Animation is a great creative outlet because it’s easy enough to understand the basics and get started, but has so many new skills to learn and try that the creative possibilities are endless. Animation Desk provides a variety of tools & templates to get you started:
Using the Tools & Features
Animation Desk lets you import video, and supports copy-and-pasting, rotoscoping and onion skinning to help you create high-quality animations.
Templates
There are also templates within Animation Desk to get you started. You can make the Corgi template your own by adding unique colors, new characters, storylines, and other elements.
The app is available on iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
